## Abstract The accumulation of unfolded or misfolded proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) lumen triggers ER stress. ER stress initiates a number of specific compensatory signaling pathways including unfolded protein response (UPR). UPR is characterized by translational attenuation, synthesis
