โฆ Synopsis
A simple, sensitive and rapid method for determination of trace anions (chloride, nitrite, bromide, nitrate and sulphate ion) in concentrated inorganic acids (hydrochloric, nitric, phosphoric and sulphuric) has been developed. Each sample is diluted lOWOO-fold in water and neutralized with sodium hydroxide. The determination is made by recycle ion chromatography to separate an objective trace anion from the coexisting anion of the sample acid. The detection limit of each anion was 0.330.9 ppm in the sample acid.
