## Abstract The seeds of __Parkia filicoidea, Treculia africana, Mucuna flagellipes, Telfairia occidentalis, Citrullus lanatus__ and __Cucumeropsis edulis__ are commonly used in Nigerian cooking. The component acids of the oils of these seeds have been investigated qualitatively and quantitatively
