A new assay of catechol O-methyltransferase (EC 2.1.1.6) is described by determination of the W-and p-O-methylated products of 3.4.dihydroxybenzoic acid. The method involves DEAE-Sephadex A-25 chromatography and reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography on a LiChrosorb 5 RP 18 column.
Comprehensive and accurate measurements of the saturated-liquid and saturated-vapour densities together with the vapour pressure of pure sulphur hexafluoride were carried out from the temperature T = 224 K (triple-point temperature T t = 223.555 K) to 0.033 K below the critical temperature (T c = 31
