β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
A method is described for the gasβchromatographic determination of the diastereomers of vitamin K~1~ (phylloquinone) in the form of their dihydro dimethyl ethers. The reported method of derivatization and chromatographic analysis in conjunction with optical rotation measurements are useful approaches for characterization of vitamin K~1~ samples with respect to their origin.

A sensitive method for the determination of vitamin \(\mathrm{K}_{3}\) using cathodic stripping voltammetry is presented. Using sodium sulfate as the supporting electrolyte at \(\mathrm{pH} 1.70-1.85\), a reductive peak ( \(-0.64 \mathrm{~V}\) vs SCE) is observed. The detection limit is \(1 \times 1
