✦ Synopsis
A procedure is reported for the determination of Fe in high-purity POCl, at a concentration level of lo-80 pg 1-l.
Electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry was used and liquid POCl, was directly injected into a graphite tube of the atomizer. The optimum operating conditions of thermal pre-treatment and atomization steps were established. A calibration line based on the analysis of FeCI, solutions in water can be used for the determination of Fe in POCl, with good accuracy.
