Y 2 O 3 :Eu 3+ and ZnOΓY 2 O 3 :Eu 3+ nanophosphor powders with different concentrations of Eu 3+ ions were synthesized by a sol-gel method and their luminescence properties were investigated. The red photoluminescence (PL) from Eu 3+ ions with the main emission peak at 612 nm was observed to increa
Preparation and Fluorescence Spectroscopy of Bulk Monoclinic Eu 3+ :Y 2 O 3 and Comparison to Eu 3+ :Y 2 O 3 Nanocrystals. -Bulk monoclinic Eu 3+ :Y 2 O 3 is prepared by a high-temperature, high-pressure synthesis from Y(NO 3 ) 3 β’6H 2 O and Eu 2 O 3 . It has sharp spectral lines without the line b
We have measured the hole spectra in YSZ:Pr 3ΓΎ and YSZ:Eu 3ΓΎ with various Y 2 O 3 concentrations at low temperature. The temperature dependence of the hole width which obtained from the hole spectra in YSZ:Pr 3ΓΎ and YSZ:Eu 3ΓΎ was similar to that for disordered materials. However, the Y 2 O 3 concent
