โฆ Synopsis
Resonantly enhanced multiphoton ionization has been used to detect cI(3~'P.j'~) and Ci*(3p2PF'> via the pumping of two-photon-allowed nansitians rn the wavelength region of 230-245 nm. The precursors used to generate Cl atoms were CH,CI,, CF,CI, and Ccl,. Two-photon-allowed rransikions of HQ and DCI molecules were also observed in this region, with a dclauon scnsitiwry ol belter than 10" molecules/c&.
