✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Based on a manufacturing technology of traditional machinery, a design method of chip antenna is proposed for the dual‐band operation of GSM wireless communication. This new approach emphasizes several skills for the optimal frequency tuning for this kind of antenna with material‐loaded meander line. Results of both simulation and measurement are shown to validate this design technique. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
