## Abstract A simple and novel antenna for dual band transponders in RFID application is introduced. The antenna is designed for directly matching a commercial chip without additional impedance matching network. The simulated and measured results of the proposed antenna show that the transponders i

Abstract
Based on a manufacturing technology of traditional machinery, a design method of chip antenna is proposed for the dual‐band operation of GSM wireless communication. This new approach emphasizes several skills for the optimal frequency tuning for this kind of antenna with material‐loaded meander line. Results of both simulation and measurement are shown to validate this design technique. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract The structure of the proposed fishbone‐shaped antenna with a V‐slot for dual‐band operation makes it possible to easily design a high‐performance dual‐band antenna by adjusting the location and number of fishbones on both sides of a basic antenna with a V‐slot at the center. This design
## Abstract A novel dual band‐notched monopole ultra‐wideband antenna is proposed, in which the parasitic strip creates one band‐notch at 5.5 GHz and the tuning stub produces another band‐notch at 3.5 GHz. The experimental results show that the proposed antenna, with a compact size of 20 __×__ 31.5
## Abstract In this article, effects of negative capacitor loading on the bandwidth (BW) and efficiency of a rectangular microstrip antenna (RMSA) have been investigated. The active negative capacitor is made of a field‐effect transistor that exhibits negative resistance as well as capacitance. It
In this article, low temperature cofired ceramic (LTCC) technology was used to realize the quarter of wavelength helical antenna instead of the quarter of wavelength monopole for achieving minimization of ceramic chip antenna (13 mm 3 5.25 mm 3 1.2 mm). The equivalent circuit of the helix-monopoles
