## Abstract This letter presents a novel concept of integrated antenna for LINC (linear amplification with nonlinear components) systems. In this approach, the power combiner involved in the conventional LINC system is removed, and the power combination is realized within a microstrip antenna. This

Abstract
This paper describes the design process of an integrated antenna for an automotive rescue system. In order to fulfill the antennaβdesign requirements in different frequency bands and minimize the interference phenomena arising from the integration of different classes of antennas in a single device, a twoβphases stochasticβoptimization approach is used. The experimental validation carried out on the developed prototype confirms the effectiveness of the proposed approach. Β© 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In complex system development projects, integrated product teams (IPTs) may be used to develop various system components. Many have struggled to determine the characteristics of highly effective IPTs and the circumstances in which particular perspectives should be incorporated within an IPT. However
