## Abstract In this paper, we describe a variation of a folded slot antenna that is formed by a nonuniformโwidth slot. The antenna is fed by a coplanar waveguide on which a pair of small slits are located on both sides for broadband matching. The simulated results and measured data reveal that it e

Abstract
A linear nonuniform CPWโfed slot array was designed using an iterative procedure. Theoretical and measured highest sidelobe levels of about โ17 dB and โ16 dB, respectively, were achieved. These are substantially lower than that of previously reported arrays of this sort, validating the accuracy of the approximate methodโpermitted by the electrically thin substrateโused to calculate mutual coupling. ยฉ 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract A novel design of a broadband circularly polarized square slot antenna fed by a single coplanar waveguide is proposed and discussed. The circularly polarized radiation is achieved by means of using an outer rectangular ring and an inner rectangular ring at the center of a square slot. T
