✦ Synopsis

Abstract

A novel cell element, the combination of meander‐shaped rectangle and ring, is presented for reflectarray. The feature of the cell element is investigated along with the design of the feed and array. A 52‐element array prototype based on the proposed element has been fabricated and measured showing good results over a 26% 1‐dB gain bandwidth. Β© 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper presents the characteristics of a half bowtieshaped, meander-type antenna for broadband impedance bandwidth. The design was based on a modified meander line and a bowtie shape with coaxial feeding. The maximum measured impedance bandwidth (Οͺ10 dB) was approximately 1.5075 , or about 23.8%

A boundary integral equation for shape design sensitivity analysis of acoustic problems is presented. In the derivation of the sensitivity equation, the material derivative concept is used. To remove the singularntiess that appear in the conventional sensitivity equation, an integral identity which
