Design equations have been developed for the design of an H-plane rectangular waveguide T-junction with an arbitrary power split. These design equations were derived using curve fitting of data produced from a large number of EM simulation runs. A design procedure has been successfully developed and

β¦ Synopsis
In this paper, the problem of power splitting around different T-junction structure is investigated using the finite time difference domain method (FDTD). The variation of the width of one arm of T-junction has a significant impact on the transmitted, radiated and reflected power on both sides. The variation of the cavity parameters on one side of the T-junction lead to a dramatic changes of the ratio of power distribution in the waveguides. Furthermore, the variations of the gradient of the reflectors for symmetric and asymmetric T-junction resonators have shown a great effect on the transmission properties.

## Abstract The present paper proposes a novel design of a Wilkinson power splitter, which utilizes the nonlinear dispersion characteristic of a leftβhanded transmission line (LHTL). The proposed device has been fabricated using the lumped LβC βΞ»/4 LHTLs instead of the conventional TLs to implement
A 1 β’ 4 polarization and wavelength independent optical power splitter is reported. This device is based on a novel wide-angle lowloss Y-junction structure which can give a theoretical TE junction excess loss of 0.26 dB at a branching angle of 16Β°. To the best of our knowledge, it is so far the lowe
