✦ Synopsis

Postmortal changes of imipramine content in biological material caused a fall in the initial values during an observation period of 90 days, when the organs were kept at room temperature. On the other hand the results of the estimation were comparable with the initial ones, when the organs were stored in a refrigerator (+4~ until 30 days and suffered only after a 90 day storage a maximal loss of 16%.

The detection of imipramine is on this account promising even after exhumation.
