to 2.4'10 when the same wax was bleached by chromium trioxide-sulphuric acid mixture. The wax could be bleached to a white product. From Table , it is seen that the high FFA oil fractions obtained from the sludges, when vacuum-distilled yielded 52OIo and 56Oio pure light coloured mixed fatty acids.
