## Abstract The in vitro blastogenic responses of lymphocytes from peripheral blood leukocytes (PBL) and lymphβnode leukocytes (LNL) of cancer patients were examined simultaneously in paired studies. The lymph nodes were obtained at the time of surgical tumor extirpation from the area draining or a

β¦ Synopsis
T-lymphocyte number and functions were studied in 24 patients with psoriasis guttata as compared to healthy controls. A decrease was found of the in vitro ability to synthetize DNA in response to stimulation with phytohemagglutinin (PHA), concanavalinA, poke weed mitogen and PPD, which was statistically significant for PHA. The percentage and absolute numbers of both T and B peripheral blood lymphocytes were not altered.

Patients with bladder papillomas have an excellent overall prognosis, although approximately 10% of such patients develop frank bladder cancer. It is therefore important to devise methods for subclassifying bladder papillomas in an attempt to identify those patients at high risk for progression to c
