✦ Synopsis
The curvature of logarithmic sound decay curves in four reverberation chambers of regular and irregular shapes is treated theoretically and calculated curves are shown. The degree of curvature depends on the location of an absorption specimen as well as on the room shape. It is also shown that the curvature can be minimized by suitable arrangement of absorption specimens.
