Abstract

Two protected trinucleotide blocks MMTr‐T~p~T~p~T and d‐MMTr‐A^Bz^~p~T~p~G^i‐Bu^ were synthesized using phosphodiester approach. The purification of these blocks was achieved in satisfactory yields simply by extraction into a binary organic solvent.

## Abstract Research was performed to determine whether it was technically feasible to use boronic acid extractants to purify and concentrate the sugars present in hemicellulose hydrolysates. Initially, five types of boronic acids (phenylboronic acid, 3,5‐dimethylphenylboronic acid, 4‐__tert__‐buty
