The free amino acids of the liver and muscle of C. punctatus exposed to 1 pprn of copper solphate solution up to 84 days were investigated. Few amino acids, notably cystine and tryptophan, disappeared and fen new amino acids appeared. These changes in the free amino acids may be due to toxic effects
