Observed changes in lattice parameter and resistivity with degree of order indicate T, N 190ยฐC for the alloy &Au,; from Cowley's theory of order this yields v1 = 269k, V, = -26.9k, V, = 0, for the ordering interaction energies of pairs of atoms separated by the three shortest distances.
