## Abstract A novel method for multiplexing intensity‐type fiber‐optic sensors using wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) and spatial division multiplexing (SDM) is proposed and demonstrated. A variation of ±0.2 dB at a loss of −10.95 dB is obtained, which is comparable with that obtained by the
