Abstract
The importance of second malignant neoplasms following successful treatment of childhood malignancy is of concern to all professionals involved with the care of these patients. We present an 18 year old patient with a squamous cell carcinoma of his lower lip following prolonged treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in childhood. The rarity of this tumor in this age group and the aetiological factors involved in developing the second malignancy are discussed. Β© 1993 WileyβLiss, Inc.
