Recently settled in Hode's Hill, Pennsylvania, Maya Sinclair is enthralled by the town's folklore, especially the legend about a centuries-old monster. A devil-like creature with uncanny abilities responsible for several horrific murders, the Fiend has evolved into the stuff of urban myth. But the p

Abstract
We study a construction, which produces surfaces Y ⊂ ℙ~3~(ℂ) with cusps. For example we obtain surfaces of degree six with 18, 24 or 27 three‐divisible cusps. For sextics in a particular family of surfaces with up to 30 cusps the codes of these sets of cusps are determined explicitly. (© 2007 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)

During the field campaign a variety of wave conditions and tidal ranges were experienced, and these differing hydrodynamic conditions were reflect
In memory of Professor Gian-Carlo Rota for his great contributions in combinatorial and discrete geometry A set of n-tuples over 8 is called a code over 8 or a 8 code if it is a 8 module. A particularly interesting family of 8 -cyclic codes are quadratic residue codes. We define such codes in terms
In this letter, a new design for a planar antenna is introduced. The antenna is built using coplanar technology. It has dual-frequency operation: the first and second resonances are in the Xand Ku-bands, respecti¨ely. The proposed antenna has wideband be-ha¨ior around both resonance frequencies. It
