✦ Synopsis

By measuring the time dependence of a supercurrent induced in a ring-patterned YBaCuO-fiim with a specially designed SQUID-magnetometer, isothermal current voltage (l-V)-characteristics can be determined. Combining this technique with standard transport measurements allows to obtain I-V-characteristics spanning a range of V over 12 decades. The temperature dependence of the characteristics strongly supports a transition into a vortex-glass.
