Abstract
The melt of potassium thiocyanate can be used as solvent and as supplier of sulphur for the preparation of crystals of sulphides and complex sulphosalts. The solubilities of some sulphides in the KSCN melt were determined at 250Β°C. Small crystals of sulphides of Cu, Ag, Tl, Hg, Pb, Ni and of ternary Asβ and Sbβsulphosalts of these metals could be obtained from this flux in a temperature gradient. Moreover, crystals of sulphides were formed by a direct slow reaction of metals with molten KSCN.

## Abstract In this work we consider experiments with directed crystallization of melts with slight deviation from stoichiometric composition of AgGaS~2~. The evolution of melt composition was calculated for both experiments using measured chemical composition of the solid phase. Also the differenc
## Abstract The melting of poly(ethylene terephthalate) is analyzed by quasiβisothermal, temperatureβmodulated differential scanning calorimetry. The measurement is done by sinusoidally changing the temperature in the melting range (Β± 1.0 K). In the melting range a small portion of the sample melts
