## The kinetics of crystallisation has been studied in glassy Se 80-x Te 20 Sb x (0 4 x 4 15) by two different techniques: (i) a non-isothermal DSC technique where multiscans at different heating rates are used to calculate the kinetic parameters; (ii) isothermal annealing at different temperature

✦ Synopsis
Conductivity measurements have been performed to study the kinetics of crystallization in the glassy Seao_xTe20In x system. Amorphous to crystalline (A-C) transformations are studied during isothermal annealing at various temperatures between the glass transition and melting temperature. Avrami's equation of isothermal transformation is used to calculate the activation energy of crystallization (AE) and the order parameter (n). The values of AE thus calculated match well with the values reported for the same alloys using the nonisothermal DSC technique.
