In this paper, we grew 1.0 mol% Ce doped Cs 2 LiLuBr 6 material as a bromo-elpasolite structured crystal. The Cs 2 LiLuBr 6 :Ce 3 + crystal was grown by the Bridgman method using a two-zone vertical furnace. We measured the luminescence and scintillation properties of the grown crystal under X-ray a

โฆ Synopsis
Chemically stable and transparent K 2 NaLuF 6 single crystals doped with Tm 3+ ions were grown by the micro-pulling down method (l-PD). X-ray diffraction measurements showed that the as-grown crystals possess cubic structure with Fm3m space group. The radio-and photo-luminescence spectra of the grown crystals were measured in the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) and ultraviolet (UV) regions. Tm:K 2 NaLuF 6 showed high emission intensity at 188 nm in the radio-and photo-luminescence spectra (k exc = 159 nm).
The decay time and light yield of Tm:K 2 NaLuF 6 were also investigated by 241 Am 5.5 MeV a-ray irradiation. The main component of the decay time was a 4-8 ls and this emission was considered as 5d-4f emission from 4f n ร 1 5d high-spin state (parity allowed and spin forbidden transition). In addition to this, the light yield of Tm-doped K 2 NaLuF 6 single crystals systematically increased with increasing Tm concentration.

Single crystals of Cs 3 CeCl 6 and CsCe 2 Cl 7 were grown by the Bridgman method. Both Cs 3 CeCl 6 and CsCe 2 Cl 7 have been evaluated for application in gamma ray detection. The scintillation properties of these crystals such as emission, decay time, light output and energy resolution are presented
