In this paper, we grew 1.0 mol% Ce doped Cs 2 LiLuBr 6 material as a bromo-elpasolite structured crystal. The Cs 2 LiLuBr 6 :Ce 3 + crystal was grown by the Bridgman method using a two-zone vertical furnace. We measured the luminescence and scintillation properties of the grown crystal under X-ray a

β¦ Synopsis
Single crystals of Cs 3 CeCl 6 and CsCe 2 Cl 7 were grown by the Bridgman method. Both Cs 3 CeCl 6 and CsCe 2 Cl 7 have been evaluated for application in gamma ray detection. The scintillation properties of these crystals such as emission, decay time, light output and energy resolution are presented. Radioluminescence spectra showed emission band centered at around 400 nm for Cs 3 CeCl 6 and 385 nm for CsCe 2 Cl 7 . Principal scintillation decay time is approximately 50 ns for both scintillators. Scintillation light yield was measured 19,000 ph/MeV for Cs 3 CeCl 6 and 26,000 ph/MeV for CsCe 2 Cl 7 .

Nd 3+ doped CaF 2 single crystal scintillator has been investigated. We tried to grow 1%, 5%, 10%, 20%, 30% and 40% Nd 3+ doped CaF 2 single crystals by the simple melt-solidifying method. Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns were measured to identify the phase of all the samples. The XRD pattern
NdF 3 single crystal was efficiently grown from the melt by the micro-pulling-down (l-PD) method. The grown crystal had a single-phase confirmed by XRD and showed a highly symmetric peak by XRC. Then optical properties and a-ray excited scintillation properties in Vacuum Ultraviolet (VUV) wavelength
