Current-voltage characteristics of a-axis-and c-axis-oriented YBa2Cu3Ov\_x thin films at temperatures near the superconducting transition have been investigated, using the Kosteflitz-Thouless transition model. The voltage exhibits a power-law dependence on the current in both films. The exponent a(T
