The 6850 V cover-seal from Burgmann Industries is designed to be particularly service-friendly and simplify inspection.

These cover-seals (also called Brettschneider seals) come in a rectangular cross-section, which means that they can be used for a very wide range of applications. They are selfsealing, and have been successfully used in high-pressure and high-temperature valves in power stations.

The braided packing is made from permanently elastic, expanded high-grade graphite foil with more than 96% graphite, without a binding agent, and with an internal Inconel braid that improves stability under pressure. The cover-seal is
