## Abstract This paper describes a transmission electron microscopy (TEM) investigation of copper coupons exposed to a corrosive mixed flowing gas environment (MFG). A focused ion beam (FIB) lift‐out technique was used to extract electron transparent specimens for TEM investigation. A duplex corros
