✦ Synopsis

Spectra of the n 4a (HPH bend) and n 4b (HPD bend) bands of the PH 2 D molecule have been recorded and analyzed. The Coriolis interactions between the two states as well as the various Coriolis interactions of the n 4a and n 4b states with the n 2 state have been included in the analysis. Several new assignments of transitions which occur with enhanced intensity in the n 2 band also have been made. The parameters of the n 4a and n 4b states, improved parameters of the n 2 state, and the interaction parameters have been determined. The data on the n 3a band of PH 2 D have been reanalyzed by taking into account the b-axis Coriolis interaction of the n 3a state with the 2n 2 state.

Using a Fourier transform spectrometer, we have recorded the spectra of ozone in the region of 4600 cm 01 , with a resolution of 0.008 cm 01 . The strongest absorption in this region is due to the n 1 / n 2 / 3n 3 band which is in Coriolis interaction with the n 2 / 4n 3 band. We have been able to a

The very weak bands nu1 + 2nu2 + 3nu3 and 4nu1 + nu3 of 16O3 have been observed for the first time, using the Fourier transform spectrometer (FTS) of Reims and the usual experimental setup providing a large product p x l of approximately 38 Torr x 36 m. The upper levels of these A-type bands which a
