To investigate the role of selenium-dependent glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) in the development of hereditary hepatitis, we compared incidences and grades of acute hepatitis between the Long-Evans cinnamon (LEC) rats fed with selenium-supplemented diet and selenium-deficient diet. Immunoblot analys
