✦ Synopsis

Abstract

Complexes (R^1^Cp)(R^2^Ind)ZrCl~2~, the catalysts previously reported active for ethylene polymerization showed high activity in ethylene/1‐hexene copolymerization and propylene polymerization in the presence of MAO. The content of 1‐hexene in copolymers ranged from 1.2% to 3.2%. In propylene polymerization the complex 1 showed the highest activity, up to 1.2Γ—10^6^ g of polypropylene per mol of catalyst per hour. Based on the analysis of NMR spectral data, the relationships between complex structures and polymerization results were explored.

## Abstract A number of new half‐sandwich titanium(IV) complexes of the type [Cpβ€²TiCl~2~{N(2,6‐R^1^~2~C~6~H~3~)R^2^}] [R^1^ = __i__Pr (1, 2, 4), Me (3, 5); R^2^ = Me (1, 3, 4, 5), Bn (2); Cpβ€² = Cp (1, 2, 3), Cp\* (4, 5)] have been synthesized by the reaction of [Cpβ€²TiCl~3~] with the lithium salts o
