β¦ Synopsis
The production of methanol followed by processing of methanol over ZSM-5 is an efficient and flexible route for production of synthetic hydrocarbons from either coal, natural gas, or biomass. Depending on process conditions, products can be produced ranging from ethylene to gasoline to distillate fuels. The various technologies discussed in this paper include Methanol to Gasoline, Methanol to Ethylene, and Methanol to Olefins/Olefin to Gasoline and Distillate.
