โฆ Synopsis
In earlier articles, criteria for controllability and observability of continuous composite systems and of state equations in the Jordan form have been proved. In this paper, controllability of discrete composite systems is considered and the criteria are found to be similar to those proved for continuous systems. However, the method of proof employed in this paper is different and is such that it can be applied directly to continuous systems as well.

The goal of this paper is to find conditions for the controllability of homogeneous-in-the-state bilinear systems in state spaces of dimensions two and three. The cases where the system matrices of such systems generate a Lie algebra equal to the dimension of the state space are considered, i.e. whe
Mathematical models of cell electrical activity typically consist of a current balance equation, channel activation (or inactivation) variables and concentrations of regulatory agents. These models can be thought of as nonlinear filters whose input is some applied current I (possibly zero) and outpu
In this paper infinite-dimensional dynamical systems described by nonlinear abstract differential equations are considered. Using the generalized open mapping theorem sufficient conditions for constrained exact local controllability are formulated and proved. It is generally assumed that the values
Two methods of simulating continuous-data systems by sampled-data models are presented. Sample-andhold devices are inserted in an otherwise continuous-data system, and the input and the feedback gains are modified to make the response of the sampled-data model as close to that of the original system
