An undulator for production of intense soft X-rays has been constructed for the Siam Photon Source (SPS). The device, named U60, is being characterized and prepared for installation. It is a pure permanent magnet planar undulator, consisting of 41 magnetic periods, with 60 mm period length. Utilizat
