Abstract
Three new sphingosineβtype glucocerebrosides, CEβ2b (1), CEβ2c (2) and CEβ2d (3), were isolated by means of highperformance liquid chromatography (HPLC) from a cerebroside molecular species (CEβ2) which was obtained from the less polar fraction of the methanol extract of the sea cucumber Cucumaria echinata.
