## Con ference reports Derouane et al. (Namur) reported briefly on the interaction of ethylene with H-ZSM-5 using 13C n.m.r, and thermogravimetry. In the absence of water it was found that ethylene is strongly chemisorbed even below room temperature, and oligomerizes rapidly at 293 K or higher. At
