✦ Synopsis


In this article we describe the design and test of low-cost millimeter-wa¨e omnidirectional antenna for mobile communication links. The desired radiated pattern will co¨er y17 to 53 degrees in the ele¨ation plane. A monopole antenna on the conical ground plane is considered, and theoretical and experimental results are presented.
