โœฆ Synopsis

A computational study of Rh 2 (esp) 2 -catalysed cyclopropanation of styrene with ethyl bromodiazoacetate is presented. The calculated structures and the energy profile of the reaction show a high level of similarity between Rh 2 (esp) 2 , a catalyst with sizeable, tethered ligands, and the simplified model catalyst Rh 2 (O 2 CH) 4 .

The catalysts Rh/Al 2 O 3 and Rh/TiO 2 for hydrogen production from NaBH 4 were prepared by deposition technique from RhCl 3 reduced by NaBH 4 and were studied by XPS and TEM. It was found that the RhCl 3 /Al 2 O 3 system is more stable comparing to RhCl 3 /TiO 2 which starts to decompose by weak he
