✦ Synopsis
An analysis method of multiband coaxial wa¨eguide horns has been de¨eloped. The method is based on a combination of the ( ) ( ) mode-matching MM method and an integral-equation IE method. MM is used to analyze the multiport internal region, where se¨eral concentric coaxial r circular wa¨eguides are present for the different bandwidths. The IE is used for the external region, allowing an accurate analysis of the effect of the external feed shape. A comparison of the results obtained with some experimental data confirmed the accuracy of the method de¨eloped.
