✦ Synopsis

An efficient algorithm to analyze the six-port junction between a circular wa¨eguide and four side-coupled rectangular wa¨eguides is presented. The junction is a typical component in dual polarization corrugated horns mode launchers. The method is based on the generalized admittance matrix computation by algorithms specially tailored to obtain an efficient analysis on typical medium power workstations.
