## Abstract Experimental results of the complex permittivity and permeability of carbonyl iron powders are presented. It is found that the complex permeability of these samples is quite similar due to the high content of iron while the complex permittivity of the samples is significantly different

β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
The complex permittivity of aqueous solutions at 20βΒ°C has been measured at concentrations between 0.001 and 5βmol/L and over a frequency range 0.13β20βGHz. The results were combined with literature values to derive empirical equations to predict the dielectric behavior of sodium chloride solutions between 0 and 5βmol/L and 5Β°Cβ35βΒ°C. ## Abstract This paper studied the permittivity of carbon black/epoxy composites at microwave frequencies. The measurements were performed for permittivity at a frequency band of 0.5β18 GHz and for DC conductivity to find the percolation threshold of composite samples of 0.0β1.5 wt % of carbon blac
## Abstract A new measurement technique is presented to determine the complex permittivity of a dielectric material. The dielectric sample is loaded in a shortβcircuited rectangular waveguide. The reflection coefficient of the waveguide is measured by Network analyzer and calculated as a function o
## Abstract For in situ measurement of the complex permittivity of planar materials, a freeβspace system based on reflection or transmission ellipsometry has been developed and extended to microwave frequencies. Different angles of incidence were studied in the range [35β50Β°]. Original numerical me
The complex dielectric constant of aqueous hemoglobin solution waa measured at 9.5 GHz. A microwave technique allowing phase and attenuation settings with an accuracy of 0.3" and 0.03 db was used. The shift of the relaxation wavelength and the hydration values of horse hemoglobin were determined for
