β¦ Synopsis
The thermal properties of Ba(hfa),, Ba(hfa),(tetraglyme), Ba(hfa)l(18-crownd), and Ba(hfa)&diaza-1%crown-61 are investigated by comparing the results of thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) for these materials. All TGA measurements were made in helium at atmospheric pressure. Infrared, MS, NMR, and x-ray crystallographic measurements are compared for each of the complexes and correlations are made between the structure-specific information derived from these analyses and the thermal properties of the barium complexes.
