โœฆ Synopsis

Fast atom bombardment, secondary ion and laser microprobe m.s. have the potential advantage of giving information about geologically-related features of coal without the need for preliminary fractionation of the coal. The methods produce spectra which are often highly characteristic of the feature being examined but their interpretation involves an understanding of the mechanism by which the coal substance is ionized. Results obtained by the three techniques are compared and discussed.

The present study is concerned with the investigation of the potentials and limitations of fast atom bombardment (FAB) and laser microprobe mass spectrometry (LAMMA) for the structural characterization of a series of cisplatin analogues. The limiting factors for obtaining good quality FAB spectra ar

This study compares the performances of two mass spectrometric ionization techniques, i.e. fast atom bombardment (FAB) and ion spray ionization (ISI), in the simultaneous quantitation of dodecyl-, tetradecyl-and hexadecyltrimethylammonium halides in aqueous media. Continuous flow FAB and flow inject
