To investigate possible interspecies differences in the hepatocellular genotoxicity of the food-borne mutagens 2-amino-3-methyl-imidazo[4,5-flquinoline (IQ) and 2-amino-3,4-dimethyl-imidazo[4,5-flquinoline (MeIQ), primary cultures of rat, hamster, and guinea pig hepatocytes were established. The ind
