## Abstract Chinese hamster cells of an established clone line grown in monolayers were incubated for up to two hours with either lucanthone (0.3–30 m̈g/ ml) or actinomycin D (0.06–0.10 m̈g/ml) and subjected to radioautographic investigations with ^3^H‐uridine during the period of treatment. At co
