โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
A compact microwave lowpass filter with three transmission zeros is designed using the defected ground structure (DGS). The microstripline section above the DGS region is modified to obtain remarkable slowโwave and bandgap effects. An equivalent lumped LโC circuit model is presented. Reasonable agreement among the simulated, modeled, and measured results is obtained. ยฉ 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
