Abstract
This article presents a compact printed monopole antenna for 3G and UWB mobile and wireless communication systems. The antenna consists on printed microstrip arms on a Rogers' substrate with a slotted partial ground plane. The size of the antenna is only 16 mm ร 36 mm ร 0.83 mm.
